Mario Pascucci lives in Pesaro, where he spent his life working in the Mastro De Paja factory, for more than 30 years. He quickly became the Great Master of the factory and for many years he shaped the most famous Mastro de Paja freehand shapes, giving to the popular Pesaro brand a peculiar and original characteristic.
Now, after many years, Mario Pascucci decided to leave Mastro de Paja factory to achieve the dream of his life: creating his own Line of Pipes with his name.
We have no doubt about Mario's Skill and it is a pleasure for us to present his pipes on our store.
Mario Pascucci shapes are inspired from the Great Italian tradition of freeforms, with generous bowls and abundance of perfect straigh grain. Pascucci pipes are made with Tuscanian Briar Plateau which is personally selected by Mario during his frequent visits to the saw mill.
Each Pascucci pipe is stamped with 'Pascucci' stamp and 'Hand Made in Italy' in an oval.
The acrylic mouthpiece features a Sterling Silver 'P' Lowest to highest grades: Rusticated, Semi Rusticated, Smooth PI in a circle, Smooth P2 in a circle, Smooth P3 in a circle, Fiamatta, stamped fiamatta.
In the best Pesaro tradition, some of Pascucci pipes are featured by a wide variety of adorments. Mario uses briar, exotic woods, horn, plain silver, double silver, army mounts and several others.
